Along the years, BMI 2000 developed a unique expertise in welding, mechanical engineering, machining, sandblasting, painting, temporary workforce for our clients, design and engineering, lifting & handling equipment and installation. With the hopes to nourish its expertise, BMI 2000 constantly modernizes its workshop. Over the years, our workshop kept on growing and today, it totalizes 30 000 square feet. Our space is specially designed for our welders-assemblers and our millwrights in order to provide them with enough space to work a diversified numbers of special projects. We also provide our clients with our expertise directly on their sites allowing us to work directly at the source.

• Welding workshop

  • BMI 2000’s welding workshop is designed to fulfill our clients most unique needs. With a height under the hook of the cranes of 24 feet, our clients’ biggest projects can easily be taken care of. Our welders-assemblers weld using carbon and stainless steels.

• Industrial mechanical

  • BMI 2000 does maintenance as well as repair our client’s production equipment. Some equipment could even be brought back to our workshop if the client wishes so.

• Machining

  • BMI 2000 offers to its clients a precision machining process using diverse conventional, assisted or CNC equipment. Our machining department allows us to provide our clients with the most flexible service there is. Whether it is to do machining for new parts, existing parts needing a modification or simply to make mechanically welded parts from scratch, BMI 2000 can do it all.

• Sandblasting and painting

  • Our sandblasting and painting department regroups a 50x60 feet painting workshop and a 30x40 feet sandblasting building. BMI 2000 can apply most paints whether it is epoxy paint, oil paint or latex paint. Furthermore, BMI 2000 possesses the necessary equipment and expertise to clean parts with boiling water using high pressure. BMI 2000 is also an official applicator of the RUST-ANODE technology (cold galvanizing process).

• Temporary workforce for our clients

  • Whether it is for welding work, mechanical maintenance, repair or for dismantling on site, BMI 2000 offers its employees as temporary workforce for our clients. Our welders-assemblers and millwrights are available to assist our clients. All our employees have the required training in health and safety to insure the safest attitude at all time.

• Design and engineering

  • BMI 2000 offers to its clients all services under one roof meaning that from a quote, we can take care of the engineering, the fabrication all the way to the installation. BMI 2000 is proud to have built its reputation over various of these projects made over the years. Also, clients can hire BMI 2000 services to improve the security of their production equipment.

• Lifting and handling equipment

  • BMI 2000 designs, tests, makes and installs lifting and handling equipment specially made accordingly with the norms and needs of the clients.

• Installation

  • The installation department is among the most important service offered by BMI 2000. That’s why we have three mobile teams of installation. They each are equipped with trucks and trailers to reach our clients directly on their site.

  • For more than 25 years, BMI 2000 and its employees are proudly committed to renewing its ISO 9001 standard. Our company is also certified with the Canadian Welding Bureau (CWB).
